The adult Sunday School class is continuing a study on the Biblical passages used in the drafting of the question and answers for the Westminster Shorter Catechism.

Sunday School
Younger Children
In addition to our nursery for children 2 and under during both worship services, the Sunday School class for children ages 3-8 utilizes the Great Commission Publication's curriculum that focuses on Scripture and the Children's Catechism memorization. Our teachers are all wives of elders in the congregation.
Adults and Older Children
From fall through spring Pastor Smiley, ruling elder Matt Folkert and retired Regional Home Missionary Jim Heemstra teach Sunday School. We recently completed a study of the Biblical texts that support the articulations of Biblical truth found in the Nicene Creed. This summer Pastor Smiley and Mr. Folkert are teaching a combined children's and adult class on the Children's Catechism portion dealing with creation and the New Creation.
The Westminister Standards
We believe that the Westminster Confession of Faith and Larger and Shorter Catechisms accurately expresses what the Bible teaches as the only rule for faith and life.
The Childrens Catechism
Based on the 19th Century catechism written for younger children, this illustrated book expresses Biblical doctrine that covenant children between the ages of 3 and 8 can understand easier than the Westminster Shorter Catechism, also written for children by the ministers at the Westminster Assembly in the 17th Century.
