We meet at the church for prayer and Bible study every Wednesday at 7:00PM except for the last Wednesday of the month.

We meet at the Woodlands Retirement Village the last Wednesday of every month at 7:00PM, in the chapel. (1055 301 Blvd. East, Bradenton)

Wednesday evenings are a blessed time for God's people at Providence. We gather together and sing hymns, study God's Word, and pray. We pray for our submission to God, for the needs in our midst, for God's work across our nation and the world, and against the works of darkness in the fallen world we live in, in the name and power of Jesus Christ to redeem sinners from darkness. This Wednesday night we will be studying how the inspired authors of the New Testament apply the Old Testament to Christ as the fulfillment of the Law, the history of Israel, the psalms and prophecy.

Men meet at the church at 7:00AM the last Friday of every month for prayer, Bible study, and breakfast.

Women meet in members homes for a Bible study once a month. Please contact the church office for the time and location.

Our annual Reformation Day party will begin at the Church on Saturday, October 31st at 5PM. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served up by ruling elder and grill master Matt Folkert. Bring a side dish or a dessert if you would like. There will be plenty of food. Dinner will be followed by Reformation games for the children, with plenty of candy to give out. We will then watch a documentary on the history of Calvinism, in honor of 2009 being the 500th anniversary of the birth of John Calvin. We will close our celebration by singing Martin Luther's historic hymn, A Mighty Fortress is Our God.
