EDIFYING THE BROTHERS AND SISTERS
LET US CONSIDER HOW TO STIR ONE ANOTHER UP
THE GIFTS OF CHRIST
Christ, by the Spirit, has given every individual particular gifts and graces. As Christians we are to share and share in these gifts and graces with one another. Providence encourages an organic approach to the use of our gifts and graces.
THE EXAMPLE OF OPPORTUNITIES
Providence also organizes regular opportunities for individuals to use their gifts in the edifying of their brothers and sisters. We see these organized opportunities as showing by example how we can flourish in edifying one another daily.

POTLUCKS
In our day and age, many churches are program oriented and centered. We believe that while many of these programs were designed with good intentions, that it has largely hindered people from freely and organically using their gifts and graces to edify their brothers and sisters. At Providence we desire to maintain a healthy balance between the organic unity we have in Christ and the organized opportunities the church oversees to refresh one another’s hearts. Our aim as a church is not to be program heavy, but to foster a flourishing edification ministry where God’s people are making use of and sharing in one another’s gifts and graces.
